01. Status and scope
NiceCast is in development. The iPhone app is the first planned release; Android and Mac are planned for later. This website is a product presentation. Concept previews do not establish support for a particular device or website. No public release date is announced.
[COMPLETE: identify the provider, services covered, eligible users, relevant territories and how final terms will be presented and accepted. This draft is not an operative agreement.]
02. App license and Apple terms
For an App Store release, the applicable Apple distribution terms and the license selected for the app must be identified. The current project plan records use of Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These draft website terms do not replace it.
[VERIFY: confirm the license selected in App Store Connect at release and how any supplementary terms interact with it.]
03. Compatible devices and connection
Casting depends on your TV model, firmware, media format, network and supported connection method. Your devices generally need the same local Wi-Fi network and relevant permissions. A device appearing in discovery does not guarantee every playback, mirroring or remote-control feature.
04. Your content and third-party websites
Use only content you are entitled to access and transmit. Respect intellectual-property rights and the terms of the websites and services you use. Public availability alone does not establish permission to reproduce or transmit content. NiceCast does not grant rights in third-party content or bypass DRM, paywalls or access restrictions.
05. Responsible use
Use devices and networks you own or have permission to use. Do not use the service to interfere with other people’s devices, access private content without permission or distribute unlawful material. You are responsible for choosing the destination screen and stopping a session when needed.
06. Payments, if introduced
No prices, subscription periods or trial offers are announced on this website.
[COMPLETE ONLY IF APPLICABLE: describe the actual purchase model at release, store-managed billing, renewal/cancellation, refunds and any consumer withdrawal rights. Remove this drafting note and any inapplicable clauses. Do not invent a subscription or imply one is active.]
07. Privacy and external services
The final Privacy Policy will explain the app’s and website’s information practices. Third-party websites, platforms and TV manufacturers may apply their own terms and policies. Review the separate Privacy Policy draft linked below.
08. Service changes and ending use
[COMPLETE: describe updates, feature changes, support availability, discontinuation, user termination and any necessary notice. Account for purchases and rights that survive termination; do not promise unsupported remote deletion.]
09. Warranties, liability and applicable law
[REQUIRES REVIEW: add appropriate warranties, liability provisions, governing law and dispute process for the actual operator and markets. Do not insert blanket exclusions or waive mandatory consumer rights. No governing jurisdiction has been selected in this draft.]
10. Changes and contact
The final terms should show their effective date and explain notice of material changes. Send questions to the verified support contact at the top once it has been completed.
